Our work is related to the creation of websites, digital or multimedia graphics; therefore, the Data submitted through the use of our websites will be processed and used only for the purposes described below.

This privacy notice applies to this website and DigiBite websites related to its services and brands, such as AppReception, App2in, Intertech, AppE20, but not to other websites that may be consulted by the user via links contained within DigiBite websites.

DigiBite has no control over these websites or over the procedures they apply to respect data confidentiality; therefore, DigiBite recommends consulting the privacy policies of all third parties you may interact with before sharing personal information.

Types of data processed and purposes of processing

Data voluntarily provided by the user – Users are asked to provide personal data (e.g., name, surname, email, etc.) only if they wish to get in touch with us or use the services offered on the site.

In such cases, users are provided with suitable information and, where necessary, are invited to give their consent. Mandatory fields are marked with (*).

The processing of data provided by users will be carried out in accordance with the purposes and methods set out in this privacy notice and in any specific notices provided from time to time.

Contacts, information requests and/or demo, use of instant messaging service (live chat)

Data directly provided by the user through the completion and submission of contact forms/communications. The explicit and voluntary sending of messages to contact addresses or filling in forms in the dedicated section entails the acquisition of the sender’s contact details as well as all personal data included in the communication.

Type of data processed: name, surname, role, company (size/sector/country), phone, email, message/reason for contact

Purposes of processing:

  • Management of the user’s request;
  • Provision of the requested service (e.g., quotes, information requests, etc.);
  • With consent, sending of commercial information also via email (promotions, satisfaction surveys, market research).

Legal basis:

  • Processing is necessary to respond to requests and to take pre-contractual and/or contractual measures at the data subject’s request;
  • Consent of the data subject.

For chat management, the messaging software provider Zendesk is used, according to its privacy policy.

Newsletter and commercial communications

Data provided by the user through the subscription form to the Newsletter. Subscription is optional, explicit, and voluntary.

Type of data processed: email

Purpose of processing:

  • Sending of Newsletters and, with consent, commercial communications and promotional activities.

Legal basis: Consent of the data subject – with the option to withdraw at any time.

The Newsletter service is managed using the MailUP platform, according to its privacy policy.

Unsubscription: To stop receiving the Newsletter, simply click “Unsubscribe” at the bottom of each email or contact privacy@digibite.it.

Work with us

Data provided through the job application form and CV submission. Data processed includes: name, surname, tax code, contact details, education, work experience, and any information included in the CV.

Purposes of processing:

  • Recruitment, selection, and evaluation of candidates;
  • Processing of special categories of data (e.g., belonging to protected categories) only if necessary;
  • Collection of professional references, with consent;
  • Verification of information through publicly available professional profiles (e.g., LinkedIn).

Legal basis: Articles 6 and 9 GDPR.

Blog

Data provided by the user when submitting a comment. Data processed includes name, email, and the content of the comment.

Purposes of processing:

  • Publishing and managing comments;
  • Sending notifications of replies to comments;

Legal basis: Consent, execution of pre-contractual measures, and legitimate interest of the Controller.

Other purposes

  • Contractual and pre-contractual purposes;
  • Legal obligations;
  • Exercise of the Controller’s rights.

Statistics: collection of anonymous and aggregated data to improve the website.

Security: collection of technical data (e.g., IP address, server logs) for protection and prevention of abuse.

Mandatory or optional nature of providing data

The user is free to provide or not provide personal data. Failure to provide mandatory data may make it impossible to provide the requested service.

Processing methods

Processing will always be based on the principles of fairness, lawfulness, transparency, and confidentiality, using technical and organizational security measures to ensure an adequate level of protection.

Sharing website content through social networks

Website content may be shared on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. DigiBite does not acquire user data in such cases. Users are advised to check their account settings on the respective social networks.

Recipients and data transfer

Data may be processed by authorized internal staff and external processors (hosting providers, consultants, service providers). The updated list of processors is available from the Controller.

Data may also be disclosed to competent authorities upon request and processed as independent controllers.

Data will be processed in Italy and within the EU/EEA. If extra-EU transfers are required, DigiBite will ensure compliance using appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses).

Data retention

Data will be retained for the time strictly necessary to provide the services or to comply with legal obligations. Data processed for marketing purposes will be kept until consent is withdrawn.

Rights of data subjects

Data subjects have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. They may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
